The Bengaluru Bulls put in a clinical performance in the last match against U.P Yoddha and won quite convincingly. A win in that match was the expected result but would still mean a lot because the Bengaluru Bulls had been outclassed by the Patna Pirates just the night before.
Now that the Bulls have once again opened up some space between themselves and the trailing pack, they can approach this match against the Telugu Titans in a more relaxed frame of mind.
Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and Rohit Kumar were once again dominant for the Bengaluru Bulls in their last match against the Telugu Titans. Rohit Kumar has been brilliant in this home leg having scored 39 points in his four outings.
He will be very keen to add to that tally in the last match of this Bengaluru Bulls home-leg.
Rohit Kumar, who captains the Bengaluru Bulls, is lucky to have the services of players like Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and Kashiling Adake on his side as well. Sehrawat is currently the highest points scorer in the league, have the most Super Raids to his name, and has the highest points per game average.
It is the brilliance of Sehrawat and Rohit that someone like Kashiling Adake may actually appear superfluous to the side’s needs.
The Bengaluru Bulls will want to be very sure that they avoid the defensive mistakes that have plagued them in the recent past. Mahender Singh has the most tackle points to his name in the last five outings and that is something he will want to build upon.
The Telugu Titans present a very different challenge to teams than most sides in the PKL. Abozar Mohajermighani and Vishal Bhardwaj form the two most imposing corners in the PKL. They work their sides of the mat with brilliance and ensure that the Raiders never get any easy points.
It is very rare to see any kind of mistakes made from the Telugu Titans thanks to the leadership qualities of these two players. It is no secret that the two will have to be at their best to try and stop a brilliant Bengaluru Bulls offense.
The Telugu Titans also become a much better side when Rahul Chaudhari starts to score points and that is exactly what he been doing in the last few matches. He has 33 raid points in his last five matches and is the one responsible for keeping the Telugu Titans abreast with other teams.
The Telugu Titans are the lowest scoring team on average in the PKL while the Bengaluru Bulls are the league’s most prolific scorers. This contest between the two sides will be the fifth and final match of a grueling home leg for the Bengaluru Bulls.
This is a mouth-watering clash between arguably the best defensive unit and the best offensive unit of the PKL. The Bengaluru Bulls definitely have the better side when all things considered but they are the end of a tough home leg as well.
