The Patna Pirates have won nine out of the last 12 matches they have played against the Bengaluru Bulls. They have also not tasted defeat in the last three matches they have played against them. It is fair to say that the Patna Pirates will have the weight of history on their side, even though their current form is not the most encouraging.
The trend of home teams struggling towards the end of their home leg should make the Patna Pirates fans panic a little.
