Patna Pirates
The Patna Pirates were absolutely brilliant in their semi-final against UP Yoddha. They gave up just one raid point in the entire first half as the defense led by Mohammdreza Chiyaneh was ruthless. There was absolutely no room for the opposition raiders and the defense was functioning without any hesitation. This is something that is going to give the Patna Pirates a massive advantage in this next match as well.
Of course, we all know how effective Sachin, Ghuman Singh, and Prashanth Kumar Raid can be while raiding as well. There is no real weakness in the Patna Pirates lineup and it will take something special to stop this machine from lifting the title once more.
Dabang Delhi KC
Naveen Kumar fought through the pain to get another Super-10 and his side over the line. Interestingly, though, the Dabang Delhi KC defense was superb in the previous match, and we also saw some good supporting raids by Vijay and Neeraj. To repeat the same kind of performance against the Patna Pirates is going to be a lot more difficult, though.
We think Dabang Delhi KC's raiders will struggle against the Patna Pirates and while fully fit Naveen Kumar at his best could have countered them, in his current state he might not be able to do that either.
There is no team that has more tackle points than the Patna Pirates and there is no player that has more High-5's than Mohammadreza Chiyaneh. This rock-solid defense is where they win most of their matches.
We are going to bet on the Patna Pirates to win. They have been more consistent than Dabang Delhi KC are not dependent on the performance of just one or two players. The entire team is functioning at its peak and it should be able to win the PKL 2021-22 Final.
