The Telugu Titans started off very confidently against their southern rivals, the Tamil Thalaiavas. Led by skipper Vishal Bhardwaj, a versatile player who is effective on both sides of the mat, the Telugu Titans owe a large part of their victory to Rahul Chaudhari.
Rahul scored 9 raid points while his compatriots Mohsen and Nilesh also scored 7 and 5 raid points respectively. This is a good sign for the Titans because their side is more renowned for being a strong defensive team. If they manage to get their offense in order as well then they are going to be very hard to stop.
Vishal Bhardwaj led from the front in the last game with three tackle points with Anil Kumar, Sombir, and C Manoj Kumar also putting in strong performances. The Telugu Titans will know that U.P Yoddha has some extremely aggressive raiders that will put the defense under pressure.
The Titans strategy for this game is going to be to minimize the damage that they take on defense while ensuring they can stay abreast of their opponents on the scoring end.
U.P Yoddha won its first game comprehensively and put in a lion-hearted performance in its second. They went toe-to-toe with the defending champions and just lost out in the end. Even though the team recorded a loss, the performance would have raised the confidence of the entire squad.
Shirkanth Jadhav scored the most points with 12 raid points to his name while skipper Rishank Devadiga provided solid support with 8. The U.P raiding unit also has accomplished players like Prashanth Kumar Rai, and Rohit Choudhary to showcase the kind of depth they have in attack.
While U.P’s attack gets most of the attention, its defense shod not be counted out either. Players like Jeeva Kumar Nitesh Kumar and Sachin Kumar are capable of shutting down the Telugu raiders effectively. The U.P side can get a bit carried away in the heat of things and veer away from the set plan.
This is where the young skipper needs some leadership support from outside the mat and from his senior players.
The historical head to head between the two teams is firmly in favor of U.P Yoddha. In fact, after three matches, U.P Yoddha has never lost a match to the Telugu Titans. U.P is bringing some serious heat to the contest and the Telugu Titans will have a tough time recording its first-ever victory against them this time around as well.
Both the teams are strong on paper but we think it is going to be very difficult for the Telugu Titans to stick with the raiding unit of U.P Yoddha. As things stand, we recommend you back U.P Yoddha for victory.
