So far, Prashanth Kumar Rai and Shrikanth Jadhav have been the two players that have scored the most amount of points for U.P. Yoddha. Unfortunately for U.P, its defense has not been able to stand up to the attacks of the opposition.
Jeeva Singh has been an important player for U.P Yoddha’s defense and his return to the side certainly helps plug a few holes. On the whole, though, the side has not shown the strategic nous or maturity that is expected of it.
The pressure of playing in front of its home crowd also seems to be getting to it and each successive defeat only adds to that pressure as well.
The Bengal Warriors have been very impressive this season. They are led by PO Surjeet Singh, who has been a rock of their defense. The success of the Bengal Warriors has been built around its defense and that is something that should scare the Bengal Warriors.
Players like PO Surjeet Singh, Ran Singh, and Manoj Dhull are very capable of shutting down the U.P defense. The few matches where the Bengal Warriors have lost their defense was found out by the opposing raiders. We are not sure if U.P. Yoddha has that kind of capability.
The Bengal Warriors are also very adept at offense thanks to the presence of players like Maninder Singh, Mahesh Goud, Jang Kun Lee, and Shrikant Tewthia. There is a lot of depth in this side on both ends of the mat.
If U.P Yoddha does not come up with something special in this match, their home crowd could be witness to another thrashing for the home side.
The Bengal Warriors have dominated the historical rivalry between the two sides. The Bengal Warriors are also in excellent form going into this match making it the overwhelming favorite.
The Bengal Warriors outclass U.P. Yoddha in each and every aspect of the game right now. They have a stronger defense and an offense with a lot of depth. Even if a few key players have a bad day, the Bengal Warriors should have enough in the tank to come through.
